All oils are carefully selected for different type of skin. Scrubs are scented with only natural essential oils. Some oils are rare and exotic. To see how your body may react, place a small amount on the inside of your elbow and wait 48 to 72 hours. If you have allergic reaction such as redness, swelling, or itching, don’t use that product.
There are plenty of scrubs to choose from. We would recommend buying a smaller jar first to figure out the intensity of scent, how happy your skin is after using, if you get any allergic reaction… Once you find your preference, we can customize it for you, like add more scent or different scent that can be used for your skin type. Or make it unscented. If you know what you want and can’t find it, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your request and will try to make it for you.
What Is a Sugar Scrub?
A sugar scrub combines granulated sugar with moisturizing ingredients—like botanical oils and butters—to create a gritty past or slush-like texture. Some formulas have additional ingredients, like essential oils, to add to the overall exfoliating experience and get more benefits.
The goal of sugar scrubs is to physically exfoliate skin. It’s applied directly onto your skin and gently rubbed to help buff away dead skin cells. This creates smoother, softer, and brighter skin, and it might even help your skin tone look more even.
Gently massage the scrub onto your skin in circular motions for about 30 seconds to one minute. The pressure should be light to moderate, avoiding excessive force. Gentle, circular massaging helps ensure that the sugar granules effectively exfoliate the skin without causing irritation or damage.

It’s OK to spend more time in some areas and less time in others. Sugar scrubs are particularly beneficial on areas with rough or dry skin, like elbows, knees, and heels. Less may be needed for areas that are naturally smooth or where skin is thinner, like on your upper chest or the undersides of your arms.
You shouldn’t use a body scrub every day; exfoliation can be harsh on the skin, and over-exfoliation can damage the skin cells and prevent natural restoration. Aim to use body scrub 1-2 times a week at the most. Once week is a good idea as this is easy to build into a weekly self-care routine.
All of our scrubs are handmade with 100% all natural ingredients. We don’t use added preservatives or artificial ingredients; therefore, we recommend using your scrub right away while it’s fresh. All scrubs will last between 6 to 12 months.
Scrub Tips:
– Close scrub jar tightly after each use. Avoid getting water in the container.
– To keep scrub at it’s freshest, scoop out desired scrub into a bowl or reusable container and bring that into the shower with you.
– If your scrub hardens, use a strong spoon to break it up. Once it touches your wet skin in the shower, it will soften.
– Over time the scrub might naturally separate, some more than others, and the oil will sink to the bottom (it’s ok, it’s natural). Just stir the scrub until it mixes back up.
How Do I Choose the Right Body Scrub for My Skin Type?
Choosing the right body scrub ingredients can make all the difference in achieving healthy, glowing skin. When it comes to selecting the right body scrub ingredients for your skin type, there are a few factors to consider.
– First, you want to take a look at your skin type and identify any specific concerns or problem areas you may have. For example, if you have sensitive skin, you’ll want to avoid harsh exfoliants and stick to gentler options.
– Next, it’s important to consider the benefits of each ingredient and how they can address your specific skin concerns. For instance, if you have dry skin, you’ll want to look for moisturizing ingredients like coconut oil or honey. On the other hand, if you have oily or acne-prone skin, you may want to opt for ingredients like tea tree oil or charcoal, which have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
– Lastly, you’ll want to consider the overall formulation of the body scrub and how it will interact with your skin. This is a key step in learning how to use body scrubs on regular basis. Look for scrubs with natural, gentle ingredients that won’t cause irritation or inflammation. Ultimately, finding the right body scrub ingredients for your skin type will depend on your unique needs and preferences, so take some time to experiment and find what works best for you.
Warning: After using oil-based scrubs in a shower it might leave the shower floors slippery. For your safety or safety whoever uses the shower after you, you need to remove the oily residue. There is a quick way to clean it to prevent hazards.
You can use dish soap and keep a good sponge or rag in the bathroom. When you’re done showering you can squeeze some soap and soak/soften the sponge/rag then use your foot to move the sponge around. Rinse after and see how it is. Another option: Grab one of those kitchen scrubbers with the handle you can pour soap into and fill it with liquid soap so you can give the shower a quick wash before you get out. It only takes a minute but it will always leave the shower clean and oil-free! Regular dawn dish soap should work just fine as a degreaser.
